My experience learning English

Imagen
Well, my experience learning English at university has been good, although very difficult. I started to connect with this language late, in the fifth year of primary school, that year was very difficult for me because I changed schools and I was below the level of my peers and I was falling behind in this area. For many years I believed that I was not capable of learning English, fortunately at the university they showed me the opposite, that was very important, I thank the teachers for their support. I think that the compulsory nature of this subject in the mesh can generate a lot of indisposition. I think we understand that the obligation to learn English is due to a colonialist practice. On the contrary, the electivity of the subjects could allow a greater commitment of the students. And in the case of languages, that would mean being able to inhabit decolonial experiences, since we would voluntarily open ourselves to other words and cultures. For my part, I would have liked to lear...

Changes to my study program

Imagen
Visual Arts at the University of Chile is a beautiful school, with very wise people, it is a really nutritious environment, but not only for its teachers, but also for its students and workers, with them I lived moments that I will never forget. Unfortunately, as in all public universities, we have infrastructure problems, but we are in very good condition compared to other universities that also have a school of arts, including some private universities. Well, I think that with what we have we can do good jobs. If I could, I would change the idea of compulsory classes for voluntary classes. He would propose a much more flexible methodology that would guarantee that learning was always with the voluntary consent of his students. And yes or yes it should be a free program, which tries to minimize the exclusion of people. Another measure, I would simplify the curriculum, leaving from the beginning open art workshops, without specificity, just as spaces for work and interaction. At the ...

CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION IS UNSTOPPABLE

Imagen
Everything is constantly changing, sometimes the transformation is imperceptible and others like a storm that gives way to the total reunion of colors. I think the way we treat ourselves is changing for the better, although we can still feel the principles of the old atomistic society, where, due to the impoverishment of life, people's self-conception is individualistic, a society where bodies are conditioned to occupy. his workforce, his power, to satisfy his own desires, I believe that this transforms the primary instincts of collaboration into violent instincts stimulated by access to privilege. I think that under the prism of that society, otherness is seen as a resistance for the ego's own ends. The capitalist self transforms it into a utilitarian object to achieve goals, reality is perceived as a resistance that the self must overcome to overcome other resistances. From my point of view, what is changing is the self-operation of people. I believe that we are moving tow...

Second, I like to sing, that is one of the things I like the most. It's something that I do almost all the time. I feel that by singing I can connect with my emotions, it is something that I really enjoy. Third, another th ing that I do in my free time is practicing fencing, it is a discipline that has helped me a lot to develop attention and concentration. Fourth, another activity that I like to do in my free time is to watch anime, it is a hobby that I learned not so many years ago, it is something that without a doubt I really like to do: put shingeki no kyojin, some potato chips with onion flavor and weed, that's life. POST GRADUATE STUDIES

Imagen
I want to study art and psychoanalysis at a postgraduate , that is my desire.  Some time ago I read some texts by Freud, in them I found exciting themes, it seems incredible to me that he tried to understand the causes of people's suffering. I think today is a very important matter .We live in a very fast and changing time, I think it has a lot to do with the type of work we are doing, we are increasingly disconnected from otherness and from ourselves. It is paradoxical, because although digital tools have allowed us to connect with other people remotely, it seems that this connection is insufficient, as if each one lived, individually, atomized, the virtual space. We are more self-absorbed and dissatisfied. That motivates me a lot, to be able, first of all, to contribute to leading a good life with my family, and secondly I would like to be able to help those who need it, why not?

I WANT TO WORK FREE

Imagen
I have always wanted to be able to dispose of my own energy autonomously and voluntarily, I am much more productive when I do something that I am passionate about. Today I have a stable job that I like, because I have the possibility of creating and the responsibility of executing, it has a flexible schedule that allows me to study and take care of my son. The office is located in Santiago. I really like what I do. In the future I hope I can continue to have this opportunity, although the truth is I still want to return to my hometown and its surrounding: the countryside, green farms and a beautiful blue sky. I grew up there, and I would love to have a job that does not take away the possibility of being within the land, the wood. It would be perfect by being able to live and survive just from the results of working on the land.

Shigurui

Imagen
Today I will share my favorite anime I love Shigurui, it is a work of art. It's a very gore series, I think I could feel the physical pain of the characters. It is a series that portrays pain very well and builds beautiful metaphors from it. I say that Shigurui teaches how terrible and distressing a world can be for people where violence is validated as a device to resolve coexistence conflicts, I think that leads to disaster.

Jimmy Hendrix

Imagen
Hello, today I share one of the things that I enjoy the most, I love listening to music. I enjoy almost all styles of music. One of the last things I heard is a Jimmy Hendrix record called Acoustic Jams, it's amazing. All that spiritual energy that each note contains, as if they were the words of a shaman speaking on the guitar. Jimmy Hendrix is a reference for many musicians and artists, I say this because of his ability to enjoy the uncertainty of freestyle and provide us with truly magical compositions. Long live his songs.

I heard Portavoz rapping

Imagen
This happened many years ago. I was studying to become a Spanish Teacher. I don't quite remember, nor the date or the reason, but Portavoz was singing, and it was the first time for me to see a famous rapper on stage. That was my first year in college and it truly is a moment that I will always remember. At that time I was following Portavoz on the Internet, I knew his discography. I have always identified myself in a certain way with hip-hop culture. Maybe so many years living in Santiago taught me some really nice things about this city. Poetry and music, urban style, have always amazed me, seeing that dignity with which people live, struggling day by day. It is incredible how art is made in the neighborhoods, it is magical that spring continues to flourish in the midst of so much adversity.

I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT MEXICO

Imagen
Although I would like to travel throughout the whole Abya Yala (American continent), the very first country I want to visit is Mexico. I want to find out everything about their architecture, both local and contemporary, and their culture.  I grew up watching mexican movies about horses and charros. I love to hear “corridos” music. Sometimes I feel that their lyrics are quite into what we live in our own lives. I would love to see the famous sculpture painting “Del Pueblo a la Universidad, la Universidad al pueblo”, a masterpiece made by David Alfaro Siqueiros. It is located on campus at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico. About the mural, "The important issue is the pencil, the pencil is being returned to the people" (https://unamglobal.unam.mx, 2018). I would love to see that poetry in person.
